What Is A Structure Sensitive To Snow Load?

<The Building Structure Load Code> GB 50009-2012 (hereinafter referred as "GB 50009") 7.1.2 said: the snow load-sensitive structure should be pressed by the 100-year return period.

How to define the sensitive structure? 

In the description, the light roof is a sensitive structure. So is the common lighting roof (usually tempered glass) on the roof of commercial complex a sensitive structure?

In GB50009 article 7.1.2 for mandatory provisions, the article notes: sensitive to the snow load structure mainly refers to the large span,lightweight roof structure, such structure of snow load is often control load, extreme snow load easy to cause overall damage to the structure, particularly serious consequences, so the basic snow pressure to improve appropriately, using 100 years of snow pressure.

The roof of commercial complex is equipped with light daylighting roof. When the supporting structure is a snow-load sensitive structure, the snow pressure of 100 years of return period should be used.

<Standard of snow load for the design of roof structures> article 2.1.1 of T / CECS796-2020 stipulates: " The roof structure where the standard value of snow load exceeds more than 40% of the standard value of dead weight load of unit area is a snow load sensitive structure.

<Standard of snow load for the design of roof structures>T / CECS 796-2020, which started implementation on June 1, clearly defines this:

The building structure where the maximum standard value of roof snow load exceeds 50% of the standard value of gravity load per unit area of the roof.

This standard also stipulates that for structures sensitive to snow load, the snow load should be calculated at 1.1 times the value of the conventional structure.
