Code For Split Joint of Steel Structure Components and Buildings

1. Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structure Engineering GB50205-2020

8.2.1 The spacing between the flange and web joints of welded H steel shall not be less than 200mm. The splicing length of flange plate shall not be less than 2 times the plate width, the splicing width of web shall not be less than 300mm, and the length shall not be less than 600mm.

2. Code for Construction of Steel Structure Engineering GB50755-2012

9.2.1 The spacing between the flange stitching joints and the web splicing joints of the welded H-shaped steel shall not be less than 200mm. The length of flange shall not be less than 600mm; the web width shall not be less than 300mm and the length shall not be less than 600mm.

9.2.2 The side panel splicing length of the box member should not be less than 600mm, the spacing between the adjacent two sides should not be less than 200mm, and the side plate should not be assembled in the width direction. When the width exceeds 2400mm, the minimum splicing width should not be less than 1 / 4 of the width of the plate.

9.2.3 When there are no special requirements in the design, the hot rolled steel used for secondary components can be welded with straight mouth, and the splicing length shall not be less than 600mm.

9.2.4 When the steel pipe is connected, each joint shall be one joint, and the shortest length shall meet the following provisions:

1. When the diameter of the steel pipe is d 500mm, it shall not be less than 500mm;

2. When the diameter of the steel pipe is 500mm <d 1000mm, it should not be less than the diameter d;

3. When the steel pipe diameter is> 1000mm, it should not be less than 1000mm;

4. When the steel pipe is processed by rolling mode, there may be several joints, but the shortest connecting length shall meet the requirements of paragraphs 1~3.

9.2.5 When the steel pipe is extended, the longitudinal weld of adjacent pipe joints or segments should be staggered, and the minimum distance (along the arc length) should not be less than 5 times the wall thickness of the steel pipe, and should not be less than 200mm.

9.2.6 The component splicing weld shall meet the requirements of the design documents. When there are no design requirements, the strong butt weld shall be adopted.

3. Code for Welding of Steel Structure GB50661-2011

5.1.5 The quality grade of weld seam shall be selected according to the importance, load characteristics of steel structure, weld form, working environment and stress state, according to the following principles:

1. In the components that bear the dynamic load and need fatigue checking, the weld joints requiring strong connection with the base material shall be welded through, and the quality grade shall meet the following provisions:

1) The transverse butt joint or T-shaped butt and angular combination joint with the force vertical to the length of the weld shall be level 1 when pulled and shall not be lower than level 2 when under pressure.

2) The longitudinal butt joint with the parallel force and the weld length direction shall not be lower than level 2.

3) The working seam of heavy working system (A6~A8) and intermediate working system with lifting weight Q 50t (A4 and A5) the T-shaped joint between the web and the upper flange plate and between the upper chord and the node plate of the crane truss should be welded through. The weld form should be a combination of butt and angle, and the quality grade should not be lower than grade two.

2. In the components that do not need fatigue checking, the strong butt weld with the base material should be welded through, and the quality grade should not be lower than secondary when pulled, and should not be lower than secondary when under pressure.

3. For butt welds of partial penetration, using corner welds or T-shaped butt and corner combination welds, and lap angle welds, the quality level shall meet the following provisions:

1) The structure that directly bears the dynamic load and needs fatigue checking and the crane beam with the crane lifting weight equal to or greater than 50t, beams and legs and other important nodes should not be lower than the second level.

2) Other structures can be tertiary level.
